Titanium Anodizing is a process that adjusts the oxide level of the product's surface. This adjustment changes the spectrum of light, resulting in perceived color. By precisely controlling the surface oxide level with electrical voltage, an entire range of colors can be produced. Anodizing titanium is not a coating, nor does it use dyes. It can scratch with heavier use or with contact against other abrasives, but holds a good color overall for a good period of time.
