The Poliwog is one of the most unique and unusual production folding knives ever created. Designed by Eric Glesser and originally released in 2005, it features a distinctive "open-ended" Ball Bearing Lock™ and a graceful, symmetrical profile when open. This Exclusive expression of the Poliwog faithfully resurrects this remarkable design and enhances it with Blade HQ's signature material choices. Its saber-ground blade is crafted from Crucible® CPM® M4, a special-purpose powder metallurgy tool steel. Its sophisticated alloy composition, high vanadium content, and extremely fine grain structure give it exceptional wear resistance and toughness.

True to Blade HQ’s established style, this elite knife also showcases natural-colored G-10 scales. These peel-ply-textured scales provide a non-slip grip and are precision machined to straddle and highlight the knife's Ball Bearing Lock mechanism.
