The full-flat-ground PlainEdge™ blade of this elite knife is crafted from Crucible® Industries' CPM® S45VN™, an advanced particle-metallurgy stainless steel created specifically for the knife industry. CPM S45VN's finely balanced chemistry promotes the formation of chromium carbides while leaving more free chromium in the steel's matrix. Some of its vanadium and carbon have also been replaced by niobium and nitrogen. The result is a state-of-the-art steel that offers an exceptional balance of wear resistance, corrosion resistance, edge retention, and toughness.

Equally unique, the handle of this knife features vibrant pink G-10 scales. The peel-ply texture of the scales complements their ergonomic shape to ensure a secure, non-slip grip. They are supported by nested stainless steel liners that form the foundation of the knife's high-strength Compression Lock® mechanism.
