The blade of this remarkable knife is crafted from CPM® M4, a special purpose high speed tool steel produced by the particle metallurgy process. CPM M4's sophisticated alloy composition, high vanadium content, and extremely fine grain structure give it exceptional wear resistance and toughness—properties that translate to outstanding edge retention and impact resistance in knife blades. Taking full advantage of these qualities, the satin-finished PlainEdge™ blade of this knife features a full-flat grind for optimal cutting performance and point utility.

Not to be outdone, the knife's lightweight handle showcases scales injection molded from mint-green-colored fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) and featuring Spyderco's Bi-Directional Texture™ pattern for a secure grip. The handle also features nested stainless steel liners, a sturdy back lock mechanism, and a four-position pocket clip that supports all possible carry preferences.
