The first defining feature of this knife is its full-flat-ground blade, which is crafted from Crucible® Industries' CPM® S45VN™, an advanced particle-metallurgy stainless steel created specifically for the knife industry. CPM S45VN's finely balanced chemistry promotes the formation of chromium carbides while leaving more free chromium in the steel's matrix. Some of its vanadium and carbon have also been replaced by niobium and nitrogen, creating a state-of-the-art steel that offers an exceptional balance of wear resistance, corrosion resistance, edge retention, and toughness.

Equally unique, the handle of this knife features vibrant pink G-10 scales. The peel-ply-textured scales house nested stainless steel liners that form the foundation of the knife's Compression Lock® mechanism and anchor its versatile four-position pocket clip.
