ACF, ACF+, and Pokémon Themed Builds

We had a very busy fourth quarter of 2024 with wholesale orders and the holiday season, but we are back in the shop and ready to take on the next round of Creative Freedom packages. These will go live Tuesday, January 14th at Noon EST. But wait! This time we are adding another option to the mix that may appeal to this generation of knife collectors; the Pokémon Themed Builds. For those new to this scene, below is a brief description of what will be released:

Advanced Creative Freedom

Everything that comes with our basic creative freedom, but allows you to choose a theme to base the modifications around. On top of that, this service utilizes more time consuming and graphic intensive techniques to allow us to fit your theme better. Titanium is always the best option for these builds. Advanced Creative Freedom Plus (+)

Everything that comes with the ACF package, theme included, but this service also utilizes our sticker ano service when applicable. The best canvases for this package are smooth surface, minimal contouring or milling, and titanium is required. The sticker ano is a very time consuming and exclusive process that takes an image and applies it to your knife with as many colors and layers as necessary to bring it as close to the original image as possible. Pokémon Themed Builds

Get in on the first launch of this service on January 14th. Pokémon fans, this one is for you! These themed packages will include two options.

The first option is a true creative freedom with one input; you choose the Pokémon type, we do the rest. You will receive artwork applied to your titanium knife featuring a Pokémon sticker ano on the showside and a logo graphic on the lockside (lockside is consistent through all PTB's).

The second option will be the exact same as the first; the difference being you get to choose the exact Pokémon you want for your build. We will do our very best to accommodate this request, though on occasion we may need to reach out for a second or third option depending on the graphics available for said Pokémon.

As a bonus for these builds, through a fair and randomized program, a few lucky customers will receive a secret/hidden Ditto marking on their knife tucked within the design (always visible without breakdown). If you are one of the lucky ones to receive a Ditto on your knife, you can reach out to us to claim a fully customized/sticker anodized titanium Pokémon card that matches your build.

We are excited for these builds and we hope you are too! The initial drop will include 20 available package as we gauge interest with this new offering. If things go well, who knows what other themed packages we may offer in the future! Cinema? Anime? Cities? Comic Book? Possibilities are endless with our mod work. Read more on the PTB's here.

Updated Rat Builders!

With the release of the new Rat 1.5 from Ontario Knife Co., we have seen a surge of interest in our Rat Builder. With that said, it was a little outdated not only on pricing, but also on all of the new services we offer. They are now fully revamped with more services than you will see anywhere else for any knife customization. The Synthetic Builder features Rat 1, Rat 2, and Rat 1.5 models with their respective steel options; AUS8, D2, S35VN, and Magnacut (according to what is available from Ontario Knife Co.). On top of that, all of our current scale options are listed for each model, and you will see Rat 1.5 scale options added toward the end of February. Choose from a long list of blade finishes, handle customization options, and then fall down the rabbit hole turning every piece of the knife from factory to your preferred look. If you don't see options you are after, don't hesitate to reach out and inquire about those for possibilities and quotes.

The Titanium Builder is all of that and then some. Titanium opens up the doors for our customization services and we have both smooth stonewashed and milled varieties of Rat 1 and Rat 1.5 Scales coming toward the end of February. For now, play with the options or build yourself out a Rat 2 while you wait for the other options to come through. These builds are going to be wild, and we can't wait to see what you all come up with on these.

Come scale arrival, we will have various house builds available to purchase as-is, and we will still be offering our Mystery Rat packages for every model out there. Get to building, and stay tuned! The most popular and practical EDC will be taken to levels no one has seen!

The Kershaw BelAir

One of our favorite new models from Kershaw Knives, the BelAir, has taken the industry by storm. This new DuraLock knife model comes in a variety of aluminum handle colors along with marble carbon fiber option. The action is smooth, the lockup is great, the blade steel is Magnacut. The knife is thin, lightweight, and puts most axis locks in the category to shame coming in at a price point of only $145-190 (scale dependent).

Leave it to us to demand titanium be put on this beauty of a knife. By the end of February, we should have the above three scale options available for purchase, customization, and who knows - maybe a BelAir builder is in need. We will see. Customizations being the focus, there will be plenty of options there. Yet the added durability, weight, and feel will take this knife to a new level and will truly make it a premium option for the pocket any given day.
