 The defining feature of this elite version of the Native 5 is its blade, which is precision machined from CPM CRU-WEAR — an air-hardening tool steel specially formulated to offer both superior wear resistance and toughness. Created by Crucible Industries, CRU-WEAR's unique alloy composition allows it to excel in applications that require greater wear resistance than D2, more toughness than M2 high-speed steel, or both. The CRU-WEAR used in the blade of this knife is further enhanced by the Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process, which ensures an ultra-fine, highly homogeneous grain structure that maximizes the performance potential of the steel. In a knife blade, that translates to amazing toughness and the ability to take and hold an outstanding edge.

Proudly featuring a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole for swift, ambidextrous, one-handed opening the blade of this knife is full-flat ground and satin-finished for superior edge geometry and low-friction cutting performance. It is housed in a linerless handled constructed with smooth black G10 scales and supported by a high-strength lockback mechanism. Threaded inserts in the scales provide a solid anchor for the knife's four-position hourglass pocket clip, which allows left or right-side tip-up or tip-down carry.
