The blade of this remarkable knife is precision machined from CPM® CRU-WEAR®—an air-hardening tool steel specially formulated to offer both superior wear resistance and toughness. The CRU-WEAR used in this knife is further enhanced by the Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process, which ensures an ultra-fine, extremely homogeneous grain structure. To reduce its reflective signature and help protect it from corrosion, the full-flat-ground PlainEdge™ blade of this elite knife features a handsome black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating.

Equally unique, the handle of this knife showcases smooth black G-10 scales, which are precision machined to house nested stainless steel liners that form the foundation of its Compression Lock® mechanism. To complement the blade's stealthy black DLC finish, the handle's liners, pocket clip, and other hardware also sport durable black coatings.
