The full-flat-ground PlainEdge blade of this Para Military 2 is machined from premium CPM M4 particle metallurgy stainless steel. CPM M4 is a special-purpose high-speed tool steel produced by the particle metallurgy process. A popular material for high-performance custom blades and knives used in competitive cutting, its sophisticated alloy composition, high vanadium content, and extremely fine grain structure give it exceptional wear resistance and toughness—properties that translate to outstanding edge retention and impact resistance in knife blades. Its fully accessible Trademark Round Hole proudly identifies its Spyderco lineage and allows swift, ambidextrous, one-handed opening.

The handle of this knife features unique Arctic Storm Fat Carbon Fiber with precision-machined scales house nested stainless steel liners that provide superior structural strength while keeping the knife handle lightweight.
