The defining feature of this elite Para 3 Lightweight is its blade, which is crafted from Böhler-Uddeholm M390 particle metallurgy stainless steel. This high-performance alloy offers outstanding wear and corrosion resistance, yet remains extremely easy to sharpen and maintain. It also has the unique quality of performing extremely well with both coarse and highly polished edges. To maximize the performance potential of this steel, this knife's PlainEdge™ blade is full-flat ground and satin finished to create optimal edge geometry and a low-friction surface finish. It also includes a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole™ that proudly proclaims its Spyderco pedigree and allows swift, one-handed opening with either hand.

This one-of-a-kind Para 3 Lightweight also boasts a handsome red handle injection molded from tough fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN). The ultra-lightweight, open-backed handle features Bi-Directional Texturing™ for a non-slip grip and houses a streamlined version of Spyderco's Compression Lock™ mechanism—a high-strength lock that allows safe, easy, one-handed operation.
