The first defining feature of this knife is its blade. Instead of the standard blade steel used on this model, it is crafted from Crucible® CPM® REX® 45—a super-high-speed particle metallurgy tool steel enriched with large volumes of cobalt, tungsten, molybdenum, and vanadium. Its high cobalt content increases the steel's attainable hardness, while its vanadium carbides provide high wear resistance, fine grain size, and increased toughness. The satin-finished PlainEdge™ blade of this knife is full-flat ground for superior edge geometry and proudly includes a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole™ for swift, ambidextrous, one-handed opening. 

Equally unique, this elite knife features a two-toned G-10 handle. The obverse (front) scale is a high-visibility orange, while the reverse (back) scale is blue. Both scales have a non-slip peel-ply texture and are precision machined to accept the nested stainless steel liners that provide structural strength and serve as the heart of the knife's high-strength Compression-Lock® mechanism. A polished four-position hourglass clip completes the package, offering a choice of tip-up or tip-down, left or right-side carry.
