The defining feature of this elite knife is its breathtaking Damascus steel blade. Expertly crafted from D.P.S. 15 Damascus, it consists of a VG-10 stainless steel core flanked by two pieces of 15-layer Damascus. The resulting 31-layer construction is highlighted by the blade's full-flat grind, which reveals the dramatic contrast between the layers and offers exceptional edge geometry for low-friction cutting performance.

Equally unique is this knife's rich navy blue fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle. The injection-molded FRN handle proudly features Spyderco's Bi-Directional Texture™ pattern for a secure, non-slip grip. It is also home to the knife's sturdy back lock mechanism and a reversible deep-pocket wire clip that provides a choice of left or right-side, tip-up carry.
