The finely tuned chemistry of this American-made particle metallurgy steel promotes the formation of niobium carbides along with vanadium and chromium carbides, enhancing its toughness without sacrificing wear resistance. The full-flat-ground blade of this knife takes full advantage of these properties and is available in a choice of PlainEdge or fully serrated SpyderEdge formats. The satin-finished blade is housed in a handle featuring bright blue fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) scales, non-slip Bi-Directional Texturing, skeletonized full stainless steel liners, a stout LinerLock mechanism, and a versatile four-position pocket clip that provides a choice of left or right-side, tip-up or tip-down carry.
