Merging ancient beliefs and modern frontiers has led to Darriel Caston's unique design of the CRKT Mbombo. The design is based off of the CRKT MinimalX, which Darriel Caston was commissioned to design for the crew of a SpaceX launch. The Mbombo goes a step further and draws on inspiration from the god Mbombo, who the Kuba people believe to be the god of creation and incorporates a durable titanium handle and an aesthetically (and literally) sharp, acid etched damascus blade. The jimped flipper opener makes the blade easy to deploy rapidly and smoothly. The particular cleaver style blade makes it capable of performing a variety of EDC tasks, and the pocket clip makes for easy, deep concealed carry.
